Re: Xbox 360 freezing help
Hi m8,
Do you get any error codes when this happens or have you seen defects in your games funky lines or shapes, Things to try when booting up hold in your sync button in, it could be down to a bad system update did you update recently?
X-Clamp fix easy to do, if that fails then you will have to reflow your motherboard if you got access to a reflow system.

Re: Xbox 360 freezing help
Just posted a quick tutorial m8 >> http://ixtreme.nstars.org/tutorials-f3/xbox-360-three-red-lights-of-death-repair-manual-t53.htm#63
basically everything you need to do.
Its sounds like your about to get a E74 error its happened to me a few times but that tutorial should sort that out for you m8, check on ebay for a cheap x-clamp kit there only a few £s or there is this but abit expensive >> http://www.ck3.co.uk/xecuter-rrod-360_pro-repair-kit-new-version.html

Re: Xbox 360 freezing help
as Admin said "Its sounds like your about to get a E74 error" the guide posted Will cure it
if you do get the cheap x-clamp kit offa ebay you will get some cheap thermal paste in the kit if i were you i would get some Arctic Silver or Similar Silver Paste as it's a lot better.
another solution could be http://www.ck3.co.uk/xecuter-rrod-360_pro-repair-kit-new-version.html this kit is well worth the extra
